"Gus" looked soo handsome. He has his cute little new tie that matches his new, yellow and blue shirt. He looks like such a "boy" now. So much for keeping him a baby..LOL
"Baby B"...was so excited. She got to wear her new Easter dress and hat to church this morning...This is the first time we have not had curly hair and big bows...so the hat was really special to her. (and I still curled her hair...LOL)
So while I was finishing my make-up, Gus got an empty cologne bottle out of the garbage, threw it, and... did a great fillet on his finger tip...man there was blood all over.. and it was a pretty good cut. We cleaned up as fast as we could and ended up being ten minutes late....I was so frustrated, between being late to church on Easter, and sitting there thinking I maybe SHOULD have taken him to the hospital...it took me a few minutes to get in line with the spirit...(sigh).. the things mom's go through on Sunday mornings...LOL
Now all cleaned up and ready to go, we snapped another picture...Happy lil kids, huh?....We do not do the Easter Bunny until after church on Easter...we put Jesus first, and "the bunny" comes while we are at church... Just think, they didn't even realize there was supposed to be "a bunny", until we got to church and other people asked them what the bunny brought...(giggle)..Gramma B had to work, so we took the kids straight from church the nursing center that she works at...the residents were so happy to see the kids.. and all dressed up too... One older guy said," That right there is the WHOLE meaning of life", as he lovingly pat Gus on the head. Boy did he speak the truth... On a day that was so frustrating for me, I was immediately humbled again at "God's" words....,"That right there is the WHOLE meaning of life" : )
